Before even hitting the water, Kristy gave me and my friend a thorough lesson on the fish found in Montana, the lifecycle of aquatic insects and how all of the equipment works. She's a natural educator, true expert, and just a whole lot of fun to hang out with! Once we felt comfortable casting, we waded out into the river and got to practice our new skills. I’ve done a lot of float fishing lately and wanted a walk/wade day and Kristy planned a lovely hike to the types of fishing spots I was hoping for.
